Your practice stays on your iPhone

There is no Sayoha account and no Sayoha server. Prompts you add, your English answers, review schedules, grammar mastery, bookmarks, saved explanations and feedback are stored in the app's own storage on your device. We do not receive a copy, and this version does not sync through iCloud.

To start over, open Settings and choose Delete all learning data. This removes added prompts, answers, reviews, explanations, feedback, unfinished drafts, your AI consent and the daily reminder, and restores the starter prompts. Deleting the app removes the same data.

What you create

• English answers you type, or speak and have converted to text.
• Prompts you add yourself, generate with AI, or pick up from a photo.
• Review history: when you practised, how each answer was judged, and which grammar points you have mastered.
• Bookmarks, notes on feedback and saved explanations.

Microphone and speech recognition

When you answer by voice, Sayoha asks for microphone and speech recognition permission. Recognition is forced to run on the device. If your iPhone cannot recognise English on device, the voice button does not start and you can type instead. Audio is never recorded to storage and never sent to anyone, including the AI service. Read-aloud uses the standard iOS system voices.

Camera and photos

You can photograph Japanese text, such as a textbook page or a sign, or choose a photo from your library. Sayoha reads the text on the device using Apple's text recognition, then lets you turn chosen lines into practice prompts. The image itself is not saved by Sayoha and is never uploaded.

If you keep a line as a prompt, that Japanese text becomes part of your practice like any other prompt, so it may be sent with an AI request described below.

Separately, Save to Photos asks for add-only access so it can put your ten-question summary card into your library. It does not read your library.

Optional AI feedback from DeepSeek

AI feedback is off until you agree on the consent screen. While it is on, Sayoha sends the following text to DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com) for the feature you use:

• Checking an answer: the Japanese prompt, its reference English answers, your English answer, and any earlier feedback on it.
• Explaining a correction: the Japanese prompt, your answer, the suggested correction and the related feedback.
• Generating new prompts: only the grammar point and difficulty level.

No audio, photos, names, device identifiers or contact details are sent. DeepSeek returns a verdict, suggestion or explanation; nothing becomes part of your learning record until you confirm it. Please don't type personal or confidential details into your answers.

You can withdraw consent in Settings at any time. Withdrawing cancels any request in progress, and the app continues with reference-answer comparison only. DeepSeek handles the text under its own privacy policy, which Sayoha links to inside the app.

Purchases, tracking and advertising

Sayoha has no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, has no analytics or advertising SDK, and does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.

Reminders and sharing

After you save ten answers, Sayoha can offer a daily reminder at 8:00 in the morning, scheduled locally on your iPhone. Declining does not limit practice, and you can turn it off in Settings or iOS Settings.

If you export your learning record, the text goes only where you send it through the iOS share sheet.

Security and retention

Data stays until you delete it or the app. Sayoha does not create diagnostic logs in public builds. Because there is no server, we cannot restore data you delete.

Children

Sayoha is designed for adult learners. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change what is sent to the AI service, we will update this page and ask for your consent again in the app.

練習の記録は iPhone の中に

Sayoha にはアカウントもサーバーもありません。追加した問題、英語の解答、復習スケジュール、文法の習得状況、ブックマーク、保存した解説やフィードバックは、端末上のアプリ専用の保存領域に保存されます。私たちがその写しを受け取ることはなく、この版では iCloud による同期も行いません。

最初からやり直したいときは、設定で 学習データをすべて削除 を選んでください。追加した問題、解答、復習、解説、フィードバック、書きかけの下書き、AI への同意、毎日の通知が削除され、最初から入っている問題に戻ります。アプリを削除した場合も同じデータが削除されます。

あなたが作るもの

• 入力した、または話して文字に変換した 英語の解答
• 自分で追加した、AI で作成した、または写真から取り込んだ 問題
• 復習の履歴：いつ練習したか、各解答がどう判定されたか、どの文法項目を習得したか
• ブックマーク、フィードバックへのメモ、保存した解説

マイクと音声認識

音声で答えるとき、Sayoha はマイクと音声認識の許可を求めます。音声認識は必ず端末上で行うよう設定されています。お使いの iPhone が端末上で英語を認識できない場合、音声ボタンは作動せず、代わりにキーボードで入力できます。音声が保存されることはなく、AI サービスを含め誰にも送信されません。読み上げには iOS 標準のシステム音声を使います。

カメラと写真

教科書のページや看板などの日本語の文字を撮影したり、ライブラリから写真を選んだりできます。Sayoha は Apple の文字認識機能を使って端末上で文字を読み取り、選んだ行を練習用の問題にできるようにします。画像そのものを Sayoha が保存することはなく、アップロードすることもありません。

ある行を問題として残した場合、その日本語の文は他の問題と同じように練習の一部となるため、下記の AI リクエストとともに送信されることがあります。

これとは別に、写真に保存 では、10 問のまとめカードをライブラリに保存するために、追加のみのアクセスを求めます。ライブラリの中身を読み取ることはありません。

DeepSeek による任意の AI フィードバック

AI フィードバックは、同意画面で同意するまでオフです。オンの間、Sayoha は使う機能に応じて次のテキストを DeepSeek（api.deepseek.com）に送信します。

• 解答のチェック： 日本語の問題、その参考となる英語の解答例、あなたの英語の解答、その解答へのそれまでのフィードバック
• 添削の解説： 日本語の問題、あなたの解答、提案された修正、関連するフィードバック
• 新しい問題の作成： 文法項目と難易度のみ

音声、写真、氏名、端末識別子、連絡先は送信しません。DeepSeek は判定、提案または解説を返しますが、あなたが確認するまで学習記録には何も加わりません。解答には個人情報や機密情報を入力しないでください。

同意はいつでも設定から取り消せます。取り消すと進行中のリクエストは中止され、アプリは参考解答との比較だけで引き続き使えます。DeepSeek は自社のプライバシーポリシーに従ってテキストを扱います。そのポリシーへのリンクはアプリ内にあります。

購入、トラッキング、広告

Sayoha にはアプリ内課金、サブスクリプション、広告はありません。他社のアプリやウェブサイトをまたいであなたを追跡することはなく、分析用や広告用の SDK も含まず、App Tracking Transparency の許可も求めません。

通知と共有

解答を 10 件保存すると、Sayoha は毎朝 8:00 の通知を提案することがあります。通知は iPhone 上でローカルに予約されます。断っても練習は制限されず、設定または iOS の設定からオフにできます。

学習記録を書き出した場合、そのテキストは iOS の共有シートであなたが送った先にだけ届きます。

安全管理と保存期間

データは、あなたがデータまたはアプリを削除するまで残ります。公開版の Sayoha は診断ログを作成しません。サーバーがないため、削除したデータを私たちが復元することはできません。

お子さま

Sayoha は大人の学習者向けに作られています。子どもを対象としたアプリではありません。

変更

AI サービスに送信する内容を変更する場合は、このページを更新し、アプリ内で改めて同意をお願いします。
